About ARPS
Australian Remote Project Services.
A field-based electrical and technical services business built around practical problem solving.
Built around the work
ARPS began with hands-on electrical, generator and technical field work.
The work has always varied. One day may involve a local electrical or generator job. Another may involve travelling to a remote site where power, controls, communications and equipment all need to work together.
That variety has shaped the business.
Practical first
ARPS is built around understanding what is actually happening on site.
Rather than starting with a predetermined solution, the focus is on the equipment, the problem and what the customer needs the system to do.
That approach applies whether the job is local or hundreds of kilometres from the nearest major centre.
From field services to Intelligent Power Systems
As ARPS projects became more technically involved, the work increasingly extended into generator controls, communications, system integration and remote technology.
That led to ARPS IPS, Intelligent Power Systems, the specialist division of ARPS.
ARPS IPS allows more complex projects to draw on deeper controls and integration capability while remaining connected to the field experience of the wider ARPS business.
sentiq
ARPS IPS is also the home of sentiq, a remote asset intelligence platform developed to provide better visibility into equipment operating away from site.
No distance
too far
The phrase has been part of ARPS for a reason.
The business was built around going where the work is, whether that means supporting customers locally in South East Queensland or mobilising for the right regional and remote project elsewhere in Australia.
